Appreciation

Appreciation is a gift to give

That doesn't cost a thing.

So give it often; give it now.

And make another person sing.

Choose kind words to show your thanks.

Show high regard and gratitude.

Tell exactly what you like.

And practice such an attitude.

All people need to hear kind words.

And know that they're worth while.

So say the things you'd like to hear

And say them with a smile.

The words you say will echo back

And bring new joy to you.

And in return you'll get a gift

That's lasting, great, and true.

Opening Doors

With heavy load in hand.

I came to the building door

And wondered what to do

With the weighty load I bore.

And as I struggled to unload

The door was opened wide

By a caring, gentle person

Who helped me get inside.

Open a Door

Open a door

For someone today.

Give them a smile

And have a good day.
