o Save time by photocopying letter patterns. Don't trace. Double cut the white pattern by laying it on colored paper. Glue the white letter under the color as an edge or shadow for the color by moving it slightly to one side.
o Measure and mark your bulletin board spaces by placing tiny permanent dots at the top and bottom center or at measured intervals.
o Use a string and two push pins or tacks to stretch across the board. This moveable straight line helps you align captions and pictures.
o Remember that permanent markers bleed and fade through time if the printed materials are laminated or if they are stored in stacks or files. Water based markers will survive lamination more readily.
