Global Education

Learning about the sources for the materials used in each product can lead to a study of the interdependence of people on earth. A game showing one such example is given here.

Obtain a sugar cookie recipe. Brainstorm with the class the various goods and services needed to complete the product. Write these items on cards and find or draw pictures to go with them. Photocopy them so there are duplicate cards. Mount on wrapping paper and laminate. Place in a cookie jar shaped game container. Play with the usual rules for concentration.
