Projects Due

Students desire clear instructions concerning projects which are to be completed. A teacher who answers these questions prior to making an assignment for a project will help students identify what is to be completed.

1. What can/should be done?

2. When is the work to be completed?

3. Who shall do the project?

4. Where can it be done?

5. Why is the project useful or important?

6. How much (quantity) of something will be helpful to do in order to understand a concept or process?

7. What kinds of approaches or ideas might be used?

Sometimes a list of choices is helpful. Models of potential ideas spark creativity in some; others feel stifled if too many directions are given.
