Roles of the Teacher and Roles of the Student

The task of being a teacher involves taking many different roles. For each role the teacher assumes the student is cast into one which is related or complementary. With experience both teacher and student learn what each of these roles involves. A teacher who understands and carries out his or her role can help learners do the same.

For each role given, describe what it would involve. Write the related role(s) you believe students and teachers would need to take and identify actions expected of them.
