8. FOUNDATIONS, REFLECTION AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: The practitioner continually evaluates the effects of the practitioner's choices and actions on students, parents, and other professionals in the learning community, and actively seeks out opportunities to grow professionally.

A. Identify personal needs and interests in at least one science area and relate those needs to the teaching in a classroom.

B. Ask meaningful questions to guide personal learning in the area of science and relate those questions to individual student aptitudes and abilities.  

C. Learn by listening to and observing others.
